If you live in Vancouver and like Asian food, you have probably tried plenty of Chinese and Japanese restaurants. But have you tried any Korean restaurants? Korean food came into many Chinese people's attention during the airing of the Korean drama "Dae Jang Geum", that's how it came to my attention at least = =. Anyways this time I went to this Korean restaurant with my friends called Jang Mo Jib, which in English literally means "mother in law's house"...

Recently a new Chinese restaurant called Hotluck has opened up in Burnaby, on Kingsway near Metrotown.  I have always liked hot and spicy, so of course I have to go try it! I have always found there are not enough choices for spicy Chinese food near Metrotown, finally now there is one very near my home.

Benkei Noodle Shop is a Japanese ramen house located in the heart of downtown Vancouver on Robson Street (near Denman). When entering the noodle house, there is a rather narrow entrance passage, but it kind of gives the restaurant a kind of uniqueness: it actually feels like a small Japanese noodle house.
