Jang Mo Jib Richmond

If you live in Vancouver and like Asian food, you have probably tried plenty of Chinese and Japanese restaurants. But have you tried any Korean restaurants? Korean food came into many Chinese people's attention during the airing of the Korean drama "Dae Jang Geum", that's how it came to my attention at least = =. Anyways this time I went to this Korean restaurant with my friends called Jang Mo Jib, which in English literally means "mother in law's house".

One thing special about Korean cuisine is they always give you plenty of side dishes which include sweet potato, kimchi, seaweed, spicy radish and more. They are kind of like appetizers and are very delicious. My favourite is the sweet potato and kimchi.

When going to Korean restaurant, it is better to have more people together. Because the dishes are pretty large size and with more people, you can order more dishes and share them together. This way you can try out different things without too much left over.

Overall I found the food very delicious and full of flavor. The spiciness is also just right so anybody can enjoy it. The service and the price were also reasonable. I would definitely go back again.
