Maplewood Farm, North Vancouver
Last time when I went to the Vancouver Island, I saw on the ferry some flyers about the Maplewood Farm in North Vancouver, and the flyer shows some really cute animals. So last weekend I finally got a chance to go for a visit.
It is easy to get to Maplewood Farm, just get on highway one, pass Ironworkers Memorial Bridge, and you are almost there. The entrance fee is also cheap, it only costs 5 dollars CAD or so per person.
Indeed there were many cute animals, such as baby goats, rabbits, horses and cows. Even better is not only can you watch them, you are also allowed to pet them. The animals are very friendly and they are not afraid of people.
In the goats area, there is an especially cute baby goat. It just lays there on the ground and doesn't move, but its mouth is always moving like it is chewing something. Many people likes to pet this baby goat.
White sheeps are also cute.
Look at these rabbits, they look like huge slippers.
Duck and pig.
The white cow is called Sofie - the Hereford Cow, she is already 15 years old.
This Prince, a handsome horse. He is almost 2 meters tall!
Time to eat for baby goats.
What a beautiful day~ I am in a good mood after playing with the animals. See you next time!
