Maplewood Farm, North Vancouver

in

Last time when I went to the Vancouver Island, I saw on the ferry some flyers about the Maplewood Farm in North Vancouver, and the flyer shows some really cute animals. So last weekend I finally got a chance to go for a visit.

It is easy to get to Maplewood Farm, just get on highway one, pass Ironworkers Memorial Bridge, and you are almost there. The entrance fee is also cheap, it only costs 5 dollars CAD or so per person.

Indeed there were many cute animals, such as baby goats, rabbits, horses and cows. Even better is not only can...

Vancouver Pitt Meadows Pitt Lake

in

Located East of Vancouver, in Pitt Meadows, there is a beautiful place called Grant Narrows Regional Park. This park is located beside beautiful lake called Pitt Lake.

What is special about this park is that there is a long dyke. On one side of the dyke is the lake, on the other side it is a marsh called Katzie Marsh. When taking a walk on the dyke, having water on both sides provides a wonderful scenery and a relaxed feeling.

Near the middle of the dyke, there is a wooden observation tower. Once you climb up you can view the surrounding in 360 degree. Other than the beautiful...

Maybe because it was Sunday noon, it seemed that not many people were...

In this kind of hot weather, the best thing to do is of course going to the beach! My friends told me that Spanish Banks near UBC is very beautiful, so of course I need to use this holiday to check it out.

Arriving about noon, I didn't expect so many people there. Not only could we not find a place to park, even if we could park I think the beach would be full and there was...
